ELA - English Language Acquisition

Students develop the fundamental reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills necessary for success in upper level literature courses. Upper level literature courses include American and World Literature, as well as the opportunity to select courses in Shakespeare, Children’s Literature, and Love and Literature. English courses aim to familiarize students with multiple genres of literature, and provide ample opportunity to write for a variety of purposes and audiences.
