Science
Courses in this department for levels 3 and 4 include Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Anatomy. We prepare students for these classes in levels 1 and 2 science content reading classes.
Our goals are to help students be successful in high level science classes, to be skillful in using today’s technology, and be prepared for the technology of the future. We incorporate students’ cultural background and prior knowledge into all science classes. We also use science to help our students understand US culture.
