Welcome to my page on the LEAP Website!

I have been teaching at LEAP since 1999. I do a number of different jobs at LEAP. I currently teach reading, writing, and geography.  In the past I have taught history and computer skills classes.

I grew up in St. Paul and went through the St. Paul Public Schools, graduating from Central High School in 1987.  I have a BA in history from Carleton College in Northfield, MN, and a teaching degree from the University of Minnesota.

LEAP is a great place to work because we have students from all over the world who are respectful and motivated to learn.  There are many difficult things about living in a new place and learning English, so I am impressed by all that LEAP students accomplish.  I learn from them every day.
