Ms. Sandy Muellner
This is my 27th year at LEAP High School. I teach Biology, Medical Careers, nursing assistant, anatomy, medical terminology and introductory science classes. I taught Medical Careers, Biotechnology and coordinated a LEAP Internship for St. Paul Connections at St. Paul College for twelve years.
In addition to teaching, my biology experience includes working in a genetics research laboratory and for an immunology company.
My interests are developing new materials for ELL science education, special education, gardening, cooking, hiking, reading and travelling. I am also interested in connecting highly motivated students with careers in Health Science!
Student saw parts of the human body, took their blood pressure, explored the museum and watch the movie.
The biology students got to see white fluffy DNA from wheat cells.
We planted two trees. Many people helped. We dug a hole, planted the tree and poured a lot of water. It was a hot day.
